I am dedicated to educating the next generation of CRE leaders. I ensure that students and professionals alike are well-equipped with the industry knowledge and best practices. 

Georgetown’s Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate prepares them with the foundational skills and industry insights needed for success in today’s real estate industry. The course I lecture examines acquisitions, due diligence and risk management. I bring in a blend of guest speakers, case studies and practical, hands-on application to the class I teach.

    • To gain a practical and working knowledge of the framework of language necessary to understand and work in the due diligence process.

    • Learn what it takes to bring together and close a commercial real estate transaction.

    • Overview of what REITS, developers, investors and lenders require in terms of due diligence, permitting and underwriting for land and improvements for commercial transactions.

    • From pre-contract through the due diligence and closing phases of the transaction the full array of checklist items will be examined through a risk manager's perspective.

    • Actual practical and transactional experience from guest speakers.

  • The culmination of a students career in the MPRE program and the students transition from journeyman to advanced real estate professional under the tutelage of a senior real estate professional.

  • Career and identity development is essential for student-athletes. It still takes a village to raise a student and mentors are a part of that village. Student-athletes are paired with a professional to assist them with career development. Student-athletes often balance a rigid practice and game schedule with an intense academic workload. The basis of this program is to help with life after football, and make sure they have all the necessary tools to exceed when football lights go off for them at the end of the season.
